A Little Bit About Me

I graduated from Columbia University with a Masters in Social Work and then went on to hone my skills first as a mental health clinician, and later as the Program Director for a community mental health clinic. There I have experience seeing clients as well as supervising other mental health clinicians.

In my work and in my life, I value creativity, honesty, introspection, and a healthy dose of humor. I live in New York City and also enjoy quiet time in nature and at the beach.

My Approach to Therapy

In therapy I synthesize multiple modalities personalized to your unique needs including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Problem Solving Therapy
  • Mindfulness
  • Psychodynamic approaches
  • Motivational Interviewing
    and other techniques
  • I am certificatied in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (C-DBT) through Evergreen. I have experience treating hundreds of different clients throughout my time in this field.

I offer an emapthetic, non-judgmental, compassionate, and collaborative approach that is centered on you. I believe strongly in meeting you where you are, and that each therapy relationship is nuanced and unique. In our sessions together, we will build on your personal strengths to make progress in the areas that serve you most.
